Program Director www.theimlayfoundation.org Married 2
Shockingly, I remain married to the same person, John, so I will not be winning any awards for new marriages (this time).  I work for a private foundation that makes grants for health and human services, public education, the arts, cultural and civic affairs primarily in the Atlanta area. John does the same kind of work.  As Charlie Brown would say, we are philanthropists with other people's money.  It's good work and we are fortunate.

My daughters, Claire, 33, and Katherine, 29, live and work in Atlanta. Neither is married (yet).  John's sons, John 35, and David, live and work in Atlanta.  John and Megan have given us two very fun grandchildren.  David is marrying in Sept.

My mom is still alive and kicking in San Francisco.  She's amazingly vital at 84.  My sister, Chris, (DHS '68) lives in Birmingham, AL., and my brother Steve, (DHS '74) lives in Richmond, VA.

We keep up with our large families of nieces and nephews, their families, many godchildren and friends.  What's not to like?  Atlanta and I have grown up together for the last 38 years, and it has provided a great richness for me.

I'm still working my travel list, gardening, working out, hiking, involved at my college, and remain a card-carrying Episcopalian.

The highlights of the year have had range:  meeting Dolly Parton related to her fabulous (really) reading program, meeting Madeleine Albright, and watching John speak to Congress.  In the reality check range, that list would include the incredibly hard working people I meet through my work who make the world work every day.

Stepping out moment:  My daughter, Claire, and I have been singing with a little bluegrass band once a year.  We pray it doesn't end up on YouTube, but it is very fun.

Maybe I'll do something radical by our 45th, but don't hold your breath.

Retired nonprofit executive Committed Relationship 2
Life is full.  My daughters, Claire and Katherine, and grandchildren, Eleanor and Miles, live close by in Atlanta.  My partner Alan's children also live close by, so we are busy with family.  I continue serving on three boards in the health and human services sector and serve as a trustee for a real estate trust.  Alan and I hike and kayak as much as weather and travel permit.  We travel as much as COVID permits!
Wishing everyone a healthy 2022 with hopes that we are able to have our reunion in July.   Many thanks to the Committee and especiallly Nina for staying the course !!!

Commercial Real Estate Consultant (retired) Married 2
After graduating from Barnard College and Harvard School of Design, I enjoyed waterfront development and highspeed ferry planning in NYC with an office in the WTC 82flr.  Moved down to Miami for resort consulting in the Caribbean and pro bono fun with the Miami Design Preservation League/South Beach restoration in the 1980s.  With a later MBA from UMiami, directed the Miami-Dade Community Development Department, administering Fed aid after Hurricane Andrew and $40MM annually in affordable housing and social services.  When Rick Gill, my husband, was relocated by Bank of America up to the Tampa Bay area, I enjoyed 15 years of administering hotel tax receipts to nonprofits in arts, culture and sports, and $2MM annually also in commercial preservation redevelopments in Tampa area. Still sharing grant leads with arts, culture and neighborhood reinvestment groups. Now nice to hang out on our beach and catch up on my reading. Look forward to seeing great DHS friends this fall.
